Welcome to the New Marketers Diary
An Interactive Publication

===============================================================

Greetings E-Marketers,

Thanks to the new subscribers and remember I welcome your participation. I have discontinued the classifieds. I don't want to provide an advertising forum, but rather a helpful newsletter for marketers to find resources and hopefully something valuable.

I would like to touch on the subject of many recent discussions on the boards and ezines. It's about theft on the Internet. There is the ongoing battle with Microsoft about their 'Smart Tags' and the stealing of not only your visitors but your content. Then there are the hackers who are creating viruses, worms, and they're stealing your stuff! I don't claim to have the answers to any of these problems, but I do know that you need to keep updated on the posibility of that type of garbage and to protect yourself. Please visit this helpful site.

I'd like to add a Feedback section, so please submit your questions and maybe we can get some answers. Articles are welcomed and will be considered.
I Appreciate & Respect You!

Thanks,
Dale

Dear Diary,
I read an article today about 'Smart Tags'. I guess what they do is divert traffic from your site to theirs. Whomever that might be? Microsoft? I guess that makes them smart! Hmmmmm, I wonder what they do about 'Dumb Tags'? I spose the dumb tags make visitors stay on your site. If you get smart, you're it? Or was that dumb? Well, either way I guess I'm tagged! ;-/

Internet Gold Mine or Fools Gold?
by Dale Clark

Have you found your Internet Gold Mine Yet?

Don't feel bad, it probably doesn't exist. What about Internet Fools Gold? Oh, it exists. I've found that so much of the hype you read and find on the Internet is nothing more than fools gold. If you've been on the Internet searching for a home business, you've probably been spammed and you've heard all the false promises of vaste riches and quick wealth.

Don't believe it!

It's 'Fools Gold'!

Does that make you angry? Well, it should because there's nothing worse than being lied to and losing your hard earned money! The true challenge of any home business is finding honesty, integrity, or just some common sense. It's real easy to find deciet, lies, and hype. The chore is finding a reputable person, company, or opportunity. It takes a lot of research and a lot of time. There are tons of scams and only a few legitimate opportunities!

You're not getting discouraged, are you?

I can't blame you! It's very difficult to find someone who'll tell you the truth about their online business experience. You've heard of the dot com bomb. Well, that speaks for itself. There is a large percentage of home business builders who have failed and failed miserably. They've lost money! They've lost faith! They've lost their enthusiasium for the task at hand. The truth is there are no answers written in stone. There are marketers who have made money online. Do they have 'residul income'?

You have a dream!

You desire extra income! You would like to enjoy life more and you still believe that a 'residual income' could be a reality for yourself and your family. You honestly believe there's a great future for 'serious entrepreneurs! You just have to avoid the $ sign that clouds your vision. You need to avoid the 'Fools Gold'!

4 Steps to Avoiding 'Fools Gold'!
(It's your 'Gold' they're after)

1) Don't Act in Haste or Desperation! Investigate thoroughly and get the facts! Don't get involved in any opportunity without checking out the company or individuals involved by doing extensive research!

2) Don't be desperate and give your 'gold' out so easily, be sure you get what you pay for. Don't pull out your credit card or check book untill you're sure it's legitimate.

3) If you're paying for information, make sure it has a Guarantee! Visit the discussion boards and ask others. Do a search for anti-scam sites.

4) Keep away from the pyramid schemes, downline clubs, chain letters, and so called 'gurus'! If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

I hope those steps help you avoid the scams of the 'Internet Goldminer'! There just might be a real 'goldmine' waiting for you! You'll find there are people out there that are reputable and honest. There are good opportunities that you can consider and perhaps you'll find something you can believe in! Don't be intimidated by the so called 'Guru'! Your satisfaction is important, not only to yourself but to your business! Do the Research!

Your Success depends on it! Your Dream requires It!
Don't fall for the 'Fools Gold'!

Do Your Homework! Take Your Time!
There might be Gold in them thar Hills!
